New Years Resolutions

As I'm "fashionably" late to everything, I'm a tad late to posting my new years resolutions... At least it's still January ;)
This year I'm definitely ready to make a few changes in my life. These are my goals for 2013:

Make lists:
I always feel like there's always so much to do and not enough time to get everything done! So I usually end up not getting much done. To combat this, I've decided to start the new year by getting more organized. I've never been much of a list maker and I'm super forgetful. I'm going to start making a monthly list of goals and things I would like to get done in addition to my new years goals. That way the big ol' new years list seems  more manageable.

Keeping clean & organized:
Making lists will help with keeping me mentally organized, but I also need to work on becoming more physically organized as well. I need to find a system that works for organizing my makeup and hair products. Any makeup gurus have suggestions? I also need to get a shoe shelf and just make sure to keep my room tidy before it piles up and becomes a disaster!

Save money:
I definitely need to stop spending my money so frivolously. When I see something I like, I buy it whether I need it or not. I have so much stuff that I don't need so I certainly shouldn't be shopping for more things I don't need. When I go shopping this year it's going to have a purpose. And I won't just shop out of boredom. This way I can save that money up towards other things.

Go out more:
As of Feb 10th, 2013 I will be 21 years old and therefore able to visit the bars, and go out more. Most of my friends/co workers are older, and want me come out for drinks but I can't :( soon I will be able to however!

Read more:
My goal is to read at least ten books this year. My mom literally has a library at her house, so I have no excuse not to read other than it being time consuming. When I get into a book that I love I can read it within a few hours. It's not that I don't like reading, I just need to find books that I don't get bored with. I tend to love self help books and autobiographies (Ahem, Bethenny Frankel). There is a lot to be learned from other people's experiences.

Blog more:
And be consistent with it! I'm going to keep a separate journal specifically for my blog so that I can jot down  ideas when they come to me without having to whip something up on the spot. I might start doing weekly segments again, and I might expand upon my blog topics, not all beauty related (opinions?).

Get healthy:
Lately I've been eating all junk food. I used to be on a vegan (for over 5 years) and gluten free diet, so i know I can do it. It's just a matter of making time to cook, plan meals, and buy groceries- things like that. I also need to exercise more often. I have a gym at my apartment complex, so again no reason not to go other than my fear of being judged at the gym. I would love to get a dog so I have motivation to walk and don't feel so dumb walking by myself. I just need to make sure I have enough time for a dog first. I'm also thinking of adding a health segment to my blog. We will see.

What are your goals for the new year?
